Célia Esteves grew up surrounded by handwoven rugs on every kitchen floor in her hometown of Viana do Castelo. When she moved to Porto to study, she spent years working at a Fine Arts print studio - and when she later attended an exhibition bridging traditional craft and contemporary design, GUR was the result.
