Fava Tonka began in Leça da Palmeira as a fully vegetarian restaurant led by chef Nuno Castro of Grupo do Avesso. When Time Out Market Porto opened at São Bento station in 2024, Fava Tonka took a stall - and became the first entirely meat-free kitchen ever featured in a Portuguese Time Out Market.
